Sibling Tell Chang deftly meshes intricate guitar work and distorted texture with Chia-Chin Tu's elastic drumming, hearkening back to a time when the band was known exclusively for dynamic instrumental music that Pitchfork once described "as close to jazz as rock: virtuosity not as a means of showing off, but approaching the sublime."
