In spite of a ceasefire, Israel has continued its genocidal campaign in Gaza.

To combat the devastation caused and yet to come, we are raising funds for The Sameer Project, a donations based aid initiative run by Palestinians in the diaspora. Currently, The Sameer Project is focused on the distribution of food, water, tents, and general restoration efforts in Gaza. Their work is of the utmost urgency as the exterminationist Israeli campaign continues.

"GIVE WARMTH TO GAZA" this Winter season...

What is a home? In Gaza it is certainly not defined by a standing structure, by four walls and a roof over ones head, but rather a concept of belonging, of love for ones family both the living and the martyred, a connection to the land, and a relationship forged by shared experiences and suffering through two years of genocide.

The Sameer Project will continue to assist families who want to return home by clearing the streets of rubble, cleaning debris filled structures, renting and fueling heavy machinery and bringing large crews to tend to destroyed neighborhoods. We will pay for transportation, we will support with infrastructure projects like water lines.

But Winter is here, and we need to do more, we need to actually help make homes - we have to provide warmth, comfort, and care to the families that define what “home” actually is. Starting today, November 14, we will add a new initiative to this campaign - “GIVE WARMTH TO GAZA.” The temperatures are dipping, the rainy season has started, the cold winds will move in over the sea, and families are not prepared. We have to protect these families from the elements, not just returning them home but giving them the warmth of care and love and recovery.

Although we are a small entity with modest funds, we still believe that every voice matters in this fight. It is our collective humanity and responsibility towards one another that binds us, especially as musicians and artists. For how can we call ourselves artists if we sit silently as an entire people are eradicated in our name? What we are willing to overlook now will redefine the state of our world globally and at home, as the imperial war machine is at the base of all problems we bear witness to, including climate, poverty, failing infrastructure, falling standards of education… you name it. Palestinian Liberation == Collective Liberation.

We call on all our music peers (other labels and musicians alike) to join us in solidarity with the Palestinian people, and to take up the fight for their freedom wherever possible. We ask that in addition to joining us in our donation efforts, that you will do your best to educate yourself and to join efforts in your immediate community. Call your reps, donate funds, find actions near you, and look to the people around you doing necessary community-building work.
