The first release in the 2017 iteration of our cassette series is Tiger Tsunami’s Summer Days / Sanremo. Musically, the music of London-based producer Christian Parker falls somewhere between Anderson .Paak and Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming-era M83 with nods to the likes of Flume, Gold Panda, MACROSS 82-99 or even Minus the Bear throughout—a euphoria-laced voyage of introspection.

Last year we launched our first ever subscription—the idea was simple: a new cassette every month, for the whole calendar year. It was a lot of fun to curate and put together, but also pretty stressful to have to deliver something new every 30 days. Going into 2017, we decided to shelve the monthly subscription aspect (one subscription at a time here, people) but to ultimately keep the series going. So today we are very excited to announce the first half of the 2017 iteration of our cassette series!!
