Diamond Youth "Orange" pre-order & video premiere for "Cannonball"
Fresh off dates with Braid, Into It. Over It., and Cut Teeth; Diamond Youth have a new video for their new song "Cannonball" (you can watch it by clicking the image above). The song is the first track off of their new record, Orange (which you can pre-order now).
Orange, recorded by Brian Mcternan (Circa Survive, Hot Water Music, The Movielife) is the follow up to the band’s well-received official debut, Don’t Lose Your Cool, recorded by Paul Leavitt (Circa Survive, All Time Low). We've been listening to it for months now and it's so damn catchy. We're pretty jazzed to finally start to get it out there for all of you! Below are just some of the packages available:
I think I'm supposed to tell you that other people besides us like it too:
“'Cannonball' carries a sound reminiscent of grunge’s glory days, but at the same time produces a fresh, poppy drive… The song’s sinister vibe possesses a certain Queens of The Stone Age poise.”
– Baeble Music
Also, cool friggin' hats, you guys!!
The band will be playing a record release show for Orange on January 19th with label mates Have Mercy as well as Koji, Turnover and more. Everyone who buys a ticket gets a free copy of the album as well! Check out the Event page for that with all the info.
