Topshelf Digest // November Updates
November has been absolutely stacked here at Topshelf HQ. And so the digest is here for you to... digest. This month we’ve got updates from Bellows, Lunarette, Gregory Uhlmann, and Ratboys!
Bellows announced their new album Next of Kin, out March 23, 2022!
This is our first 2022 announcement and I’m stoked for you all to hear this incredible record in a few months. In the meantime, two lead-singles, “Rancher’s Pride” and “McNally Jackson”, and their accompanying music videos are out now for your first taste of Next of Kin — listen here.
Next of Kin is available to pre-order on CD, cassette, and three vinyl variants: 180g transparent glass, 180g black, and 180g transparent green 12” vinyl. If you’d like to pre-order, you can do so right here!
Lunarette released a new track: “Aislamiento"! Over upbeat, shuffled guitar pop, Lunarette illuminate the dark corners of pandemic-inspired depression and anxiety with a bright melodic arrangement. Hear the track on all platforms.
“Aislamiento” completes their trilogy of standalone singles. We’ve made a wee lil playlist so that you can listen to them all together.
There’s some fantastic shows coming up! The wonderful Gregory Uhlmann will be on the road with Hand Habits this February. Ratboys have some wildly exciting gigs coming up soon, including a huge Chicago show on December 23!

We updated our “on tour” playlist with everyone whose show you can catch: give it a spin on any platform
We’ve added a new second press vinyl of If you’re not afraid, I’m not afraid from Queen of Jeans. It’s limited to 300 copies and shipping now -- pick up the stellar LP on cream w/ blue splatter vinyl right here
Earlier this year, Ratboys livestreamed their 10th anniversary show. Part live performance, part mini-doc, the livestream was a magnificent celebration of their decade of being a band.
If you missed it, it’s now up on our Youtube for you to watch as you please! Check it out
We launched a gofundme for our friend Judy to help her cover some of the costs of gender-affirming healthcare and mental health care. You know Judy from Record Setter! It would mean the world to us if you shared and/or donated
Our End of Year sale is continuing through (surprise, surprise) the end of the year! All 2021 titles are 21% off until December 31. Shop our 2021 releases here
